UNESCO Observatory - Torchbearers for Tomorrow - Poster Competition
The UNESCO Observatory Poster Competition is open to all young people.
Would you like to represent your school or association by producing a poster with a strong and excellent message addressing important global issues?
This competition aims to raise awareness and make an impact on young people world-wide.
Theme Categories:
- Indigenous Culture
- Water
- Global Warming
- Health
- Preservation of Wildlife
- Peace
- Eradication of Poverty
Age Categories:
- primary
- middle secondary
- upper secondary
- Size: A3
- Colour: full colour, black and white or one or two colours
- Format: portrait/vertical (not landscape)
- Medium: Photography

Drawing
Collage
Final Submission: Friday 16th November
Winners Announced: Friday 7th December
Prize: Selected posters will be exhibited at the University of Melbourne in 2008 and winners will receive a UNESCO Observatory Award and Certificate of Excellence. Winners and selected work will be placed on the UNESCO website to be viewed worldwide. The winning schools will receive a UNESCO Observatory plaque.
