The Department of Educational and Early Childhood Development (DEECD). See their link to Building the Education Revolution, the Commonwealth Government’s economic stimulus package of $14.7 billion over three years to Australian schools. It begins in 2009 and will provide schools with new facilities and refurbishments to better meet the needs of 21st century learning. DEECD is a partner of the Smart Green Schools project.

Established in 1921, CEFPI is a worldwide professional non-profit association whose sole mission is improving the places where children learn. CEFPI members, individuals, institutions and corporations are actively involved in planning, designing, building, equipping and maintaining schools and colleges.

Created in 1992 by business leaders from the energy efficiency, renewable energy, natural gas, independent power and electric utility industries the Business Council for Sustainable Energy is committed to economic growth through sustainable energy development.

The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment works with architects, planners, designers, developers and clients, offering guidance on projects that will shape lives. It aims to inspire people to demand more from buildings and spaces.

Rubida Research specializes in continuing practical research into the design of learning environments, through the work of Dr Kenn Fisher as a consultant to the education industry. Dr Kenn Fisher is a partner of the Smart Green Schools project.

DesignShare.com provides an invaluable service as a facilitator of ideas and resources about best practices and innovation in schools from early childhood through to university level.

Mary Featherston is a partner of the Smart Green Schools project. Her designs embrace current technologies, exhibit a depth of understanding of educational spaces, and are the result of her collaborative communication style.

EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association that helps those who lead, manage, and use information resources to shape strategic decisions at every level.

CREE is the UK's leading group of researchers whose work focuses on educational issues relating to the environment and sustainability. It is collaboratively linked to key academics, policy makers, practitioners and researchers in the UK and in similar research centers in the USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa and continental Europe through a wide range of formal and informal link.
