Text To Help Students Print: Printing A Powerpoint Presentation
- I have a PowerPoint presentation which I would like to print out. I will go to File > Print …, and in the printer name drop down list I will select 4thlabCO, because I would like my PowerPoint to print in colour.
- If I wanted it black and white I would select either Toshiba 1 or Toshiba 2.
- You always need to select your properties, and check that your paper size is coming out the size you require. I am going to print A4 handouts. I can then select if I want my pages to be in a landscape or portrait orientation, and I would like mine portrait.
- I select OK now that I have checked my print properties, then I can select what I would like to print. In the print what I think I would like to print out are some handouts, and on each page I would like three slides. You can see in this little preview window what the handouts are, a slide is on the left hand side of the page with lines for writing notes on the right.
- If I wanted to print just the slides without writing space, I would go to print what and select slides.
- I am going to print handouts with three slides on my page. Always check the preview before you print, so I will check my preview, it looks great to me, so I'm now ready to print.
- I'll press Print … double check that 4thlabCOL is still selected, I've already checked my print properties, my preview is fine so I can now press OK.
- My job is now being sent through to the release station ready for me to pay for it and collect it in print room 205.
