Text To Help Students Print: How Do I Get a Print Card and Put Credit On It
- An ABP Print card is required to release and pay for any jobs printing in the Print Room 205 in the architecture building. This print card is white with black writing. You cannot use your Melbourne Uni student ID card or the UniCard used for photocopying in the faculty of architecture.
- The print card machine is located in the print room 205. On this machine you can purchase a card for printing and add credit to your card. To buy the card, press the Buy/Finish button. Insert a two dollar coin into the slot. It must be a two dollar coin, not two one dollar coins, or any other combination of coins, just a two dollar coin.
- Once you insert this two dollar coin a card will fall into the card collection hole located on the front of the machine, down near your right knee. Now you have a print card ready to put credit onto.
- To add credit onto your card, swipe your card through the card swipe reader on the top of the machine. Insert Australian gold coins or any Australian notes into the coin or note slots. The machine does not accept any silver coins.
- Once you have added credit to you card, press the Buy/Finish button.
- Your card is now ready to use to release print jobs.
