Text To Help Students Print: Making Your Photoshop Page Into a Pdf Ready To Print
- I would like to print the A4 page that I have made in Photoshop, but we cannot print Photoshop files because they are way to big: I need to make it into a PDF to print it.
- I will go into File > Print …, I will print it to a PDF.
- In the printer drop down list you can use either AdobePDF or CutePDF Writer. For the example I will use CutePDF Writer.
- I now need to go into my page setup and check that in the layout tab the right layout is selected, that I have a portrait page.
- In the paper/quality select if you would like colour or black and white and in the advanced section, this is where you choose your paper size. I have an A4 page.
- I will select OK because my print parameters have been checked. In this print preview window check that your image looks fine.
- If you would not like anything to be cut off the edges check the box that says scale to fit media.
- I am now ready to print to a PDF. Press print …, it prompts me again to check which printer I am using and I am using CutePDF Writer, this is selected so I will press print.
- It is now turning my document into a PDF. It's asking me where I would like to save my PDF, I will save it to my desktop and I will call it Melbourne Image.
- I now press save, and the PDF will be saved in the location where I saved it on my desktop. I now have a PDF file which can be printed.
