Transferring Credits for Advanced Standing
Diploma to Degree
Up to two years advanced standing is available to students undertaking diplomas at institutions in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. For more information about the individual institutions listed below, click on the institution name to download a flyer.
For students undertaking diplomas at other institutions, advanced standing advice will be given upon making an application.

Folio
Applicants must provide a folio of 8–10 pages of A4 photocopied sheets of recent design work with their application. This must be provided in hard copy, not on disc or emailed.
Practical Experience
After completing the Bachelor of Architectural Studies (or equivalent qualification) students must complete a minimum of 26 weeks full time practical experience to be eligible for the Bachelor of Architecture.
Due to visa restrictions students normally complete their practical experience in their home country.
For students unable to complete their practical experience in the usual way, alternative options exist, including being able to defer practical experience. For more information, please contact the Faculty.

ABP offers a range of scholarships that reward academic excellence. When you apply for entry to ABP you will automatically be considered for scholarships.
Applying
International Students need to complete an International Undergraduate Student Application for Admission form, available from the Undergraduate Prospectus for International Students, the University website at www.futurestudents.unimelb.edu.au or one of the University of Melbourne's overseas representatives.
