Planning and Design
The Melbourne School of Design offers a range of generic and interdisciplinary Planning & Design courses at Graduate Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma and Masters levels.
The purpose of these courses is to allow students to create an individual course of study by selecting subjects, with the approval of the Planning & Design Course Coordinator, from across the disciplines within the Melbourne School of Design.
The flexibility these courses offer is of great benefit to students who do not wish to specialise in one particular area, who are not yet certain where their interest and career aspirations lie, or for those with an existing qualification in the disciplines represented in the Melbourne School of Design (or those related) who wish to enhance their qualifications through advanced studies in areas of their choice.
The Graduate Diploma in Planning & Design enables graduates in any field to develop skills in the discipline areas offered by the Melbourne School of Design. It is designed for applicants wishing to enhance their existing qualifications and/or undertake further academic studies.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Planning & Design is intended for graduates in discipline areas offered by the Melbourne School of Design (or related fields) who wish to enhance their existing qualifications, move between disciplines and/or take further academic studies.
The Master of Planning & Design (by Coursework) offers interdisciplinary postgraduate studies at an advanced level of scholarship.
