Submissions by GAMUT to Government Inquiries.

GAMUT makes submissions to governmental public inquiries where emergent GAMUT research findings lead to recommendations consistent with the GAMUT vision for future urban transport. In 2008 three inquiry processes were initiated by Australian government: the investigation by Sir Rod Eddington into transport links between East and West regions of metropolitan Melbourne, the Victorian Government’s public consultation process for review of the Transport Act, and the Federal Government's inquiry by Professor Ross Garnaut into climate change and public policy. GAMUT made direct submissions to two of the public inquiries, and provided a literature review for the submission by the Melbourne Transport Forum to the Eddington Inquiry.
