Profile
Dr Han's research and teaching focus on Pacific Asian urban development and planning. He has studied and published on the influences of state planning and market forces on the spatial restructuring of cities/regions including Shanghai, Beijing, Chongqing, Singapore, and Jakarta. He is currently working on projects about Hanoi's urban transformation, Singapore's transportation policies and their economic impacts, and the spatial distribution dynamics of property values in three distinctive global city-regions.
