Bachelor of Environments
From 2008 the Faculty’s undergraduate programs will be taught through the Bachelor of Environments. This three year degree is a unique program within Australia, and reflects the changing demands and challenges of the world we live in.
The Bachelor of Environments brings together the study of natural, built and virtual environments. During the first year of the degree you will undertake interdisciplinary subjects that provide you with a thorough understanding of these environments, how they are interrelated, the factors that shape them and the opportunities to manage them.
The degree then allows you to specialise in one of eleven major areas of study, which include the Faculty’s disciplines of Architecture, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Property and Urban Design.
In addition to this, you will study six subjects from other University degree courses, this is what the University has called 'breadth'. Breadth is a feature of all the new generation undergraduate degrees and will add strength to your core studies.
