What Happens at the Student Centre?
The Melbourne School of Design Student Centre provides a range of services to help you as a student, including all of your administrative needs relating to matters about your enrolment, fees, results, assessment, official documentation of your studies, student ID cards and ultimately information about your graduation.
The Melbourne School of Design Student Centre also provides academic advice to help you plan or change your enrolment program. You should seek this service when you are considering your enrolment options, considering your future employment or study possibilities or interested in supplementing your studies with study abroad, work placements, internship, volunteering or other enrichment opportunities. All students are expected to participate in some compulsory student advice sessions throughout your studies.
The Melbourne School of Design Student Centre staff can also answer most questions about accessing the University's IT system or core information system resources such as student email, library catalogue and search services or the online learning management system which contains information about your subjects and sometimes study materials, discussion forums and other support for your learning.
When they can't help, Student Centre staff can refer you to specialised services elsewhere in the University.
The Melbourne School of Design Student Centre is located in the Ground Floor of the Old Commerce Building. The Centre provides substantial administrative support for students in the Melbourne School of Design and the Bachelor of Environments.
