Faculty of Architecture Building and Planning Melbourne School of Design

Space Cadets

Who Are Space Cadets?

Space Cadets are the UMPA-affiliated postgraduate departmental group of the Faculty of Architecture Building & Planning. They are an independent student group that is run by, and for, postgraduate students of the Faculty.

What Do Space Cadets Do?

Space Cadets represent the interests of postgraduate students in the Faculty. However, just as importantly, the group aims to organise and host events that add to postgraduate student life in the Faculty. Events range from the academically-focused Postgraduate Seminar Series, to less academically-focused parties and BBQs.

How Do I Become a Space Cadet?

Easy! If you're a postgraduate student in the Faculty, you're a Space Cadet (which is a good thing). However, we would encourage all postgraduate students to become active members of Space Cadets. Attend meetings, suggest events, come to parties. It's your money we spend, so let us spend it on you.
