The conference from the 7th-10th February 2010 explores past and future approaches to managing and designing for growth, development and decline. This goes far beyond debates over density, frontier development and renewal. It includes new fields of historical, policy and social research which may inform discussion of heritage, growth, environmental, economic and other issues on the questions of the extent and development of urban form.
